Lately I’ve been trying to make more time for what I think of as “ponytail activities”: those things, like baking, crafts, and gardening, that I tie my hair back for. The other morning, Child One commented on the fact that I’ve been doing a lot more cooking and gardening recently. Then he added, “And you seem happier these days.”
You know what? He’s right.
I knew that I missed these things. But I didn’t realize just how good they were for my soul—or for my kids.

You should make it a goal to tie your hair back at least once a day.
From the mouths of babes! Poneytail activities.......love the expression. I don't have hair long enough for a poney, but when I garden/work in the yard I wear my special working hat. It's in need of being laundered...but I sorta like it looking it's part.
Have a great wkend
Sandy
